April - The Taxing Month

I felt a bit guilty the past few days when filling up my tax return form. I reminded myself not to leave anything out; education bills, books bills, donations to charity organazation...etcetera... like have a voice inside my head telling me to pay the taxman as little as possible by maximising the deductions, reliefs and rebates.

Dan, gaji mak tak la besar mana, tapi kalau dok potong2 tu terasalah jugak. Lebih2 lagi kalau amount yang dipotong tu boleh buat aku senyum lebar masa shopping kat metrojaya warehouse sale kat stadium malawati tuh. In this case, I take my hat off to my hubby, who used to fill the tax return forms on time. elo, kalau sampai RM800 kena potong gaji dalam sebulan tu, apakah maknanya? Bak kata hubby, kalau orang yang gaji berjuta2 tu..lagi la banyak kena. Ish, geram pulak rasanya. Memanglah aku ni pembayar cukai yang tak setia...harharhar.

Now, when the country seeking a relief from the global economic crisis, every taxable cents that we declare will be much help to national interest. And, this will make you to your two-cents shout as tax payer if you drive around KL and see a public project that you feel is not worth the money. Am I right?

Sakit ati ni bila tengok amount yang hubby kena bayar sampai dekat 10k tau. Hangin jek.
Well, bak kata hubby, bayar aje lah.. apa la yang kita boleh buat...walaupun yang kita kena bayar tu leh buat tambang pi London! well..it just my 2 cents!
